Syrian army downs booby-trapped radio-controlled aircraft in Daraa

DARAA, Jun. 12 (MNA) –Syrian Army units on Monday shot down a booby-trapped radio-controlled aircraft on the direction of Tafas in the northern countryside of Daraa, according to a military source.

The source said that the army units also eliminated a number of terrorists while trying to attack some military posts and targeted their movements in Daraa al-Balad and its surroundings, al-Sad(dam) road and in al-Abbasiyeh neighborhood

Meanwhile, Army units, in cooperation with the allies, continued advancing on a number of axes in al-Badia (desert) on the direction of Ark gas field, northeast Palmyra city and on the northwesterly direction of the 4th Station in the eastern countryside of Homs province, inflicting heavy losses upon ISIL terrorists in personnel and equipment.

A military source said that a number of terrorists were killed and their vehicles including machinegun-equipped SUVs were destroyed.

Also, SANA  reporter said that army units killed more than 60 ISIL terrorists on the direction of Liwaa al-Tameen  and the vicinity of Deir Ezzor airport.
